Chris 2.jpg

Rev. Chris Andrews

Chris is leader of Jubilee Pioneers, an ecumenical, open, community of spiritual seekers, and a Creation-Centered Theologian. He was a United Methodist Minister for more than 40 years, retiring as pastor of the largest Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.

Chris spent his childhood in the coastal parish of Cameron, where he found inspiration in the salt marshes with their prairie grasses and abundant life. As a teen, he found solace and love in the Methodist Church that was a short walk from his home in Opelousas, and decided to become a minister back then.

Chris is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and St. Paul School of Theology, where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree.

On weekends, he relaxes and renews on the shore at False River.
